SOBHA Realty, the global luxury developer headquartered in Dubai, has entered the Frisco, Texas market with a significant land acquisition that sets the stage for a new residential community. The Ratcliffe Family has completed the sale of approximately 100 acres of prime land located at the intersection of PGA Parkway and Hillcrest Road in Frisco, Texas, to Sobha Realty, a global luxury real estate developer. The site sits within one of the metroplex's most closely watched growth corridors.
This marks SOBHA's formal entry into the U.S. residential landscape. The Frisco acquisition is part of a broader North Texas push. Luxury developer Sobha Realty is rolling out its first U.S. projects in the region, pairing a 330-home community near Celina with a sizable land play in Frisco, planting an international flag in the middle of the Dallas-Fort Worth new-home boom. Sobha expects to break ground on its Frisco project in 2027, according to The Dallas Morning News.
While detailed unit plans are yet to be released, the location itself is a major draw. While the specific financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, the transaction represents a major land acquisition in one of the fastest-growing regions in the DFW metro area, marking a strategic move for Sobha Realty as it expands its footprint into the U.S. market.
